What is PRX Derm Perfection made of?
Hydrogen Peroxide (H202)- In the dermis hydrogen peroxide stimulates the skin stress response system (inflammation)
Trichloroacetic acid (TCA) 33%-TCA helps deliver hydrogen peroxide to the dermal layer s it reacts with dead epidermal cells.
Kojic Acid 5%- Kojic acid reduces skin pigmentation creating even skin tones
How does it work?
- TCA penetrates the epidermis and provides a route for H202 to penetrate the epidermis
- H202 prevents TCA from denaturing proteins (NO FROSTING OR PEELING)
- Combined TCA and H202 reach the dermal layer and stimulates the SSRS
- H202 initiates and inflammatory response in the dermal layer and stimulates fibroblasts, cell proliferation and cell turnover
- Fibroblasts produce new collagen and elastin to remodel the stressed skin.
